A native of Rhode Island, Jeremy Freitas spent his formative years in both public and independent schools. He received his bachelor’s degree from Fordham University (NY), majoring in Playwriting and his Master of Arts in Teaching from Brown University (RI). He began his career as an English teacher at the middle and high school levels. Prior to joining Sea Crest School in 2017, he was the Dean of Academics at Rockland Country Day School in Congers, NY, where he led the faculty and educational program for the lower, middle, and upper school divisions. Before that, Mr. Freitas was the Director of Middle School at French-American School of Rhode Island in Providence. He is thrilled to once again be working with middle schoolers and their families.
